Step Two Is FaceBook Fan Pages – This has very little to do with your “personal account”. If you already have one set up that’s great, but what most people fail to explain is that you can only have a maximum number of 5000 people as your friends on a personal account, as it is after all meant for person to person social interaction.

I’ve also read that according to the FaceBook terms of service you can only have 1 account, so it’s best to use the systems they have in place to your advantage and follow the rules. This way you can continue to use their system.

Also, by setting up a professional Fan Page we’re able to brand your name, your products, your services or the information that you wish to provide. This is not only perceived as being more professional, but it also allows you to work within the FaceBook terms of service and set up separate interlinking accounts that you are the admin for by default.

If you have a professional logo or picture that you’d like to use we can work with sizing it up to 200 pixels wide and 265 pixels tall. If you do not have a professional logo we can use either the Photoshop quality text logo that we created for you on the blog, your own personal picture or a combination of the two when setting up your new fan page.

Step Three Is Establishing A More Professional Looking Twitter Account – By now I’m sure that the majority of the people we come in to contact with will have a Twitter account. However, our key point here is it to take the otherwise dull or slightly less than professional looking profiles that most of us have and dress things up a bit. Yes, I said “us” as I’ve been there too, so I know from learning the hard way how important it is to remember that you will never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Also noteworthy is the fact that there are many automated tools out there that you can use and some of them are free, but we do not at all recommend using them for FaceBook or Twitter, as these are the two primary accounts that you’ll be using to brand yourself. With that in mind you want each post to at least appear semi-unique and also have the opportunity to log in to each account later so that you can interact with your viewers and establish more of a direct bond at a true one on one level.

Step Four Is Creating Your Professional LinkedIn Profile – At this point you’ll start to notice a pattern that is going to allow us to help you brand yourself, your company or the products that you’re promoting as being top of the line. Very few people want something from the proverbial “bargain basement” and even those who know that this is their budget still expect to pay less and give more. Remember to always under promise and over deliver!

Offering them a more professional look in to the many accomplishments, awards or other such achievements that you’ve achieved either personally, in business or both will go a long way in establishing yourself as a trustworthy in the industry.

Step Five Is Your Main User Account Play List Display Area On YouTube – You may have read about the statistics that show how video can add 25% to 35% more sales if used properly, but many people don’t take the time to explain how to customize your account for proper optimization. Also, you want to make sure that you’re using the proper “tags”, which is how some web 2.0 sites establish your keywords initially.

This is crucially important and we want those tags to appear in your title, within the link at the TOP of your description and again within the main body of the text where you explain what your viewer can look forward to in your video or by clicking the link above that you’ve provided for additional information. If you’re not already using video, we strongly urge you to start as soon as possible, as this has proven based on past statistics to increase sales.

Even if you’re not using video and you don’t have the time or ability to create your own videos you can search for relevant videos that aren’t branded with other people’s websites and create a playlist from these. After doing this you should also be able to embed those videos on to your websites, so that you can increase profits. However, in most cases you’ll get a better response if you use your own unique videos.
